Verety was started by a small team with backgrounds spanning financial-crime compliance, enterprise software, and applied AI — people who'd each separately watched a skilled analyst burn hours doing work a well-built system should be able to do in minutes.

Most of the tooling built for compliance and risk teams over the last decade was designed around static checklists and one-off data pulls — never built for how fast the underlying problem actually moves. We think agentic AI changes what's possible here: not a faster form to fill out, but a system that goes and does the investigation itself, the way a sharp analyst would, except continuously and at scale. We're a small, product-focused, fully distributed team, and still early enough that every hire shapes both the product and how we work.
